  1. family!
This is your Pirkle Get-together Social Director for Pirkle's Perch Gathering!
Here are all the particulars for our fun weekend at Gwynn's cottage together:

    SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
--Peter and family at bird sanctuary end of cottage with Renee on top bunk.
--Justin and family in sunrise end of cottage,
--Daphne on livingroom couch (she gets to designate bedtime :>)! )
--Grandma and Grandpa B get the guest room tent!!

    FOOD:

    Friday Night: Macaroni & cheese
    Salmon cakes
    Strawberries & ice cream

Saturday Night: Hotdogs roasted on the beach
    Beans
    Chips
    Deviled eggs
    Smores

Sunday Night: Grandma's Goulash (ground beef, tomatoes, green pepper, onions, corn, green peas)
    Rolls
    Fruit Salad

For BREAKFAST we will have granola and oatmeal on hand. One morning-- Sat. or Sun. --
we will have a Grandpa Doc's bacon and eggs and biscuit breakfast.

For LUNCHES I will have peanut butter and jelly, sliced turkey,
    cheeses, triscuits, tuna

DRINKS on hand will be milk, cranberry juice, orange juice, iced tea, coffee, tea, cokes and ginger ale
If you have special needs with kids feel free to supplement the menus -
Although I am a firm believer in eating what is set before you! :>)
Also remember the kitchen is small with little storage space.
We will have our cooler with us where we can store extras.

LINENS & THINGS: I will make up the beds for sleeping ahead of arrival. WE do have towels but might need some extra -
so throw in one per family.

COOKING AND HOUSEKEEPING: IT was such a joy when grandma Chee-chee and grandpa Doc would be in residence when we came for a weekend when Peter was little. They prepared all the meals and we just could lounge.
Now it is Bob and mine turn. All of you work hard, we all retried and have two weeks to recover after you leave :>) !
I WILL assign helpers at each meal just like at camp -- someone set tables, someone clears the tables, someone washes dishes and someone dries., etc. In other words - I will do a Caper Chart.

RECREATION: WE have a new four person rubber dingy boat! there are a couple of children's inter tubes. rafts, canoe, pails shovels, balls and four bicycles.

QUESTIONS? - Have I forgotten anything??

Pray for good weather. It looks like we have rain most of the week here.
